CLADHO in collaboration with ministry of Finance, has kicked off the distribution of citizen guide to the FY 2022/23 budget in all the 30 districts and lower administrative units. A citizen guide is a non-technical and summary of the national budget, designed and explicitly developed for the public. The main purpose is to increase citizens knowledge on the national budget and enhance their capacity to participate in government programs and their ownership.
CLADHO applauds the government of Rwanda for this critical exercise as it shows how the government is accountable to its citizens.
