Building capacity for children is key strengthening their participation in decision making. CLADHO in collaboration with national child development Agency with financial support of UNICEF  Rwanda, we are conducting training of children’s committees  on  child participation and fighting violence against children, across 11 districts which are:(Kamonyi,Rwamagana,Karongi,Bugesera,Gasabo,Kicukiro,Gisagara,Rusizi,Musanze,Rubavu,Kirehe), with 55 sectors including MAHAMA refugees Camp.

The purpose of this session is to increase knowledge and skills in child participation and advocacy of fighting violence against children and its monitoring.

One of the children’s representatives ISANO Melisa said that “After training they will be able to actively participate in decision making process for matter affecting them in their families,at school and in their communities”.

 At the end of the training CLADHO thanks UNICEF Rwanda, national Child Development Agency and District authorities  for close collaboration in organizing this event.
