CLADHO, through the CS Engage Dufatanye project, supported by Never Again Rwanda and funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, successfully concluded a training program for cell and sector land committees in Bugesera, Kamonyi, and Gasabo districts, aimed at enhancing participants’ skills in their roles and responsibilities, land dispute resolution, and service delivery.
These land committees are essential to local land administration and governance, ensuring transparent, fair, and effective land management that supports sustainable development and social equity.
The land committee training across Kamonyi, Bugesera, and Gasabo districts took place between November 21st and December 12th, 2024.
The training in Kamonyi took place on November 21st, 22nd, 23rd, and 29th, and was organized into four sessions for all cell and sector committees.
In Bugesera, training was conducted on November 26th, 27th, and 28th, organized into three sessions for all committees.
While in Gasabo, the training took place from December 9th to 12th, 2024, and was divided into four sessions covering all cell and sector committees.
