ABOUT CLADHO
CLADHO (Collectif des Ligues et Associations de Défense des Droits de l’Homme au Rwanda) is a well-established human rights umbrella organization in Rwanda, active in the area of human rights promotion, economic governance, right to socio protection, right to education and citizen participation. It was founded in May 1993 with the mission to protect, defend and promote human rights. It focuses on social and economic rights, especially in child protection, social security, labor law, budget analysis and advocacy. CLADHO aims at empowering citizens and civil society of Rwanda to participate and influence effectively public policies formulation and implementations in general. CLADHO is a network of 20 human rights organizations:
AVP, BENIMPUHWE, NEVER AGAIN RWANDA, TI-RWANDA,AERG, MPDH, LIPRODHOR,RWAMREC,AJPRODHO, AVSI, iPeace, GLF, DiDe, GOVERNANCE FOR AFRICA, YURI, RGPYD,OVPR,ARDHO, PWDN and KANYARWANDA.

·Our Vision: is to have a state that fully respects Human Rights
·Our Objectives:
1) Supporting, advocate and advise member associations ;
2) Strengthening cooperation among associations and leagues for defense of human rights ;
3) Promoting and arising national consciousness for the respect of rights and freedom
of human being, as defined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights ;
4) Liaising with organizations and organisms pursuing similar objectives.
5) Undertaking researches in the field of Human Rights ;
6) Complete the mission assigned by member organizations.
